I have been an avid traveller for about 22 years, having spent about half that time traversing the wilds of Thailand, India, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Malaysia as well as doing the Aussie backpacker stint in London and Europe, as well as the USA in the early 1990's.

Slowly the idea came to me to capture some of the things that I was experiencing and that have been influencing my world view and driving me to travel more and more. This especially became a burning desire when I worked for Intrepid Travel as a Tour Leader in Thailand and Malaysia in the mid 1990's.

To this day, the rawness of life as lived on the street, culture, people, colour, landscapes, architecture and history, particularly that of South East Asia, have continued to influence my travels and world view.

My goal as a photographer is to transport the viewer with my images, capture a moment, make a comment about the world that I see around me, encourage you to explore, walk down that alleyway, try that market, say hi to that sugar cane seller, get on the back of speeding motorbikes and just live...
